Over the last few days I have been chewing on what to write about and decided I would start with an obvious topic choice--community. Over the next few posts, I want to share some different ideas about community that I have come to embrace.
#1: Community Requires Intentionality
To know and be known requires the prioritization of interpersonal relationships. In contrast to a culture dominated by speed and instant results stands the overarching truth that relationships take time and effort over a sustained period of time. Deep and truly authentic friendships don't happen overnight--but rather, they develop over time and with shared experiences.
