Camp Whitcomb Mason Triathlon

Yesterday I participated in the 17th Annual Camp Whitcomb Mason Triathlon. This was my first tri experience. It consisted of a 1/3 mile swim, a 22 mile bike, and a 5k. The swim was great, the bike was hard, and the run was brutal--mainly because of the high heat and humidity. I am proud to say that I completed all three events in 1 hour and 52 minutes. Here are some pics that some loyal fans took:

Just before the swim. They sent us out in waves of 50.

I told my wife that I would do a competitive race for each child we add to the family. This tri was dedicated to to our first--expected to arrive in early December.
