Greetings & salutations my fellow bloggers!
Thanks for visiting this site! I recently felt a pull to create an online forum where I can share the different things I am learning when it comes to living life in the Way of Jesus. With that in mind, you can expect to encounter a smattering of day-to-day thoughts, theological reflections, powerful stores, a few picture posts, and perhaps some movie reviews.
My hope is that this blog will ultimately become a forum for community and charitable dialogue. As such, you are encouraged to actively participate by leaving comments and bringing your own thoughts to the table.
Stay tuned...
Very Nice, Mac. Sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mac,just sat down to check out whether I have registered my home group or not and noticed your blog for the first time. I read all of them.Very good points. We meet every other Sunday evening and it seems to work out well for us.Everybody lives in a 15 minute radius of our house so that does work out also.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of sponteneity , I just had a spontaneous interaction with another couple from our group this week end. One of the guys from our group and myself spent Saturday and Sunday afternoon helping a lady that just started coming to our church. Her house is out of propane gas so she has been living with no heat since Christmas. Her water pipes froze up and split so she also had no water in the house , just a well pump out side 100 ft from the house. We repaired several pipes in the house so that she now has running water for dishes and bathroom. After we were done the other couple had my wife, myself and the lady over for a meal.It was a good day.
One of the things that I believe we are called to do is to help others who are in need. It was also a great time for all of us to get to know each other better outside of home group and show someone on the outside the love of Christ.
Sorry for rambling on so long but I thought you would like me to share this with your bloggers.
Thanks for sharing that, Bill. I love hearing stories about how our home group communities are impacting those within the larger Lake Country community. Keep loving people outrageously.
